HOA and Community Reminders
As a Tidewater homeowner, please keep these community standards in mind throughout the year:
- Trash cans should be stored in your garage except on collection day (Thursday)
- Lawn maintenance is expected to be kept up throughout the growing season
- Exterior modifications require ARC approval before work begins
- Snow removal from sidewalks is the homeowner's responsibility
Spring
- Inspect and clean gutters after winter
- Service lawn mowers and outdoor equipment
- Check irrigation systems before activation
- Submit modification applications before starting any exterior projects
- Inspect roof and exterior for any winter damage
Summer
- Maintain lawn height per community guidelines
- Keep storm drains clear of clippings and debris
- Be mindful of water usage during dry spells
- Ensure outdoor equipment and toys are stored properly
Fall
- Clear leaves from storm drains and common areas
- Winterize irrigation systems before first freeze
- Inspect roof and chimney before heating season
- Beginning November 1, remove sports equipment and children's toys from street view each evening
- Holiday lights may go up beginning November 15th
Winter
- Clear snow from sidewalks within 24 hours of snowfall
- Use pet-safe ice melt products near common areas and the pond
- Report any hazardous conditions to the HOA
- Holiday lights should be turned off by January 15th and taken down by February 15th
